New Team for 2021: Albrecht joins Fearless Femme
"I love the mentality behind Fearless Femme. The team has such a positive environment and I feel that our levels of ambition and passion align well. I'm really grateful for the support of this squad in this year, as racing is finally coming back to normal. I signed after completing Race Across America, and immediately felt welcomed into the squad. I'll be racing under the Fearless Femme colours beyond crits, including the events on the gravel racing calendar and Canadian National Championships."
Albrecht continues to Ride Connected with the Sena R1 Evo smart helmet, and has helped introduce the team to Sena's new Pi communication devices, which work with all helmet systems.
"I'm racing on the BMC TimeMachine Road 01, which is the fastest road bike I've ever had in my entire career. I'll be doing the gravel events with my BMC URS-01 Two. I recently found a great coach for this year of racing, which is involving quite a variety of goals and disciplines. Her name is Joy McCulloch. If you've ever wondered "How do I find a cycling coach", I used TrainingPeaks' coach match service, and they hand picked Joy who is a perfect fit for me. She has experience racing a very, very diverse collection of cycling events, and she's been at the highest level of some of the cycling disciplines she's competed in. So beyond the physiological elements that are important to focus on to optimize performance, Joy also understands the technical, tactical and equipment strategies that I will need to dial in to get the most out of myself and the opportunities we have this year. I couldn't be happier."
