Mobility, Strength and Recovery for Cyclists - Essentrics Workouts as a Part of Cycling Training

 
After 8 years of racing as a professional cyclist, I think I've got the formula down: Divide the amount of time you train on your bike by three.  That will give you the ideal amount of time you should devote to recovery.  I use a lot of different techniques to help my body build itself back up after putting it through the wringer.  Essentrics is one of them.

Essentrics workouts strengthen stabilizing muscles and assists recovery through its fluid, dynamic movements. It's is a full-body mobility and strengthening program designed to decompress joints and lengthen muscles.  I discovered Essentrics at the flagship studio in Montreal Canada, after my massage therapist recommended I give it a try. I've been incorporating Essentrics classes into my training and recovery routine for nearly a decade.
